bp Retail

At bp, retail is at the heart of who we are in Australia. We have been here for over 100 years and we’re proud of it!

Be trained. Be rewarded. Be a little happiness in your customers’ days. We have over 1,200 petrol stations around the country with one thing in common: incredible people.

You'll be the friendly face delivering top service to our service station customers. In return, we'll have your back with support, work-life balance and plenty of chances to level up your skills.

Our roles

If you are a people-person who thrives in a fast-paced team environment, this could be the role for you!

Our customer service representatives (CSR) / baristas are the backbone of our business. Day in and out, they deliver efficient and friendly service to our customers and the community.

Perhaps unlike other retail jobs, our CSRs / baristas never seem to have a dull moment and always have plenty of variety throughout their shifts.

Your day may start with some early morning prep work and restocking, just in time to make a local group of tradies their morning toasties. After that, you could be serving a delicious wildbean cappuccino while having a yarn with a parent who has just finished their school drop-off. Our customers are diverse and over time you will learn their names and stories.

We provide full training to help make sure our CSRs / baristas have the confidence, knowledge and skills to meet the standards our stores are known for across the globe.

If you are enthusiastic, caring and passionate about delivering fantastic customer service, please take a look at the vacancies in your area.

As an assistant store manager (ASM) you will work with the store manager and wider team to achieve performance targets and shape our in-store customer experience.

Our ASMs are hands-on and support the team wherever they can. They truly are the in-store advocates of health, safety and security for their team, customers and immediate environment.

You will support with day-to-day activities (people leadership, recruitment, profit and loss, brand management, and waste management) and take the lead in the store manager’s absence. Like all our roles, we provide full training to help our ASMs gain the skills and knowledge of our store processes.

This is a perfect position for an aspiring leader who is looking to take the next step, or an experienced retail team member. If you want a role that will help develop your leadership skills, please take a look at the vacancies in your area.
